Description

  • Design and implement end-to-end integrations between Braze and client systems, including CDPs, CRMs, data warehouses, middleware, and custom APIs.
  • Partner directly with clients to build custom API integrations using REST, webhooks, and authentication flows.
  • Architect data ingestion patterns, event schemas, and data models optimized for scale across batch, streaming, and event-driven pipelines.
  • Write Python and/or JavaScript for middleware development, automation, and authentication workflows.
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced Segment/CDP environments, including ID resolution, transformations, workspace management, and cloud data platform connections.
  • Support SDK implementations and troubleshoot mobile and web integration issues using code samples and best practices.
  • Debug complex integration failures using logs, network traces, API testing tools, and Chrome DevTools.
  • Lead technical workstreams, balance technical quality with delivery timelines, and own outcomes on assigned engagements.
  • Create client-ready documentation such as architecture diagrams, API specifications, data dictionaries, and runbooks.
  • Mentor Consultant Technical Architects and provide guidance on integration approaches, troubleshooting, and client communication.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of marketing technology consulting experience or similar technical experience focused on integration and architecture.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript and comfort writing production-quality integration code.
  • Experience leading technical workstreams on client projects.
  • Experience with data integration platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Experience using AI code editors in daily work, such as Cursor.
  • Client-facing experience within an agency or consultancy is required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, the UK, or Canada without visa sponsorship.
  • Advanced experience with Braze Liquid, including complex logic, nested conditions, data transformations, error handling, and Connected Content.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and transformation, including complex joins and inserts.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake as data sources for downstream marketing activation.
  • Advanced Segment/CDP configuration experience, including ID resolution, custom transformations, and issue diagnosis.
  • Experience with SDK implementations and troubleshooting mobile/web integration issues.
  • Knowledge of debugging tools such as logs, network traces, API responses, Chrome DevTools, and Postman.
  • Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation and clear explanations of architectural decisions and go-live plans.
  • Braze certification milestones and Databricks/AI fundamentals are expected within the first 90 days.
