Description

  • Own integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, dependencies, critical path, and scenario planning across Databricks implementation workstreams.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, including burn tracking, variance analysis, re-baselining, and support for SOW and change management.
  • Own risk mitigation and issue resolution, with clear documentation of causes, impacts, mitigations, and contingencies.
  • Lead change control by writing change requests that justify scope, cost, and timeline impacts.
  • Select and tailor delivery methodology, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches, based on project context.
  • Design project dashboards and automated reporting, and produce executive updates that emphasize risk and decision-making.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and vendor delivery across data engineering, platform, and marketing teams while enforcing project governance.
  • Write executive summaries, decision memos, steering committee decks, and detailed delivery plans for multiple audiences.
  • Mentor Project Managers and provide feedback to help raise delivery standards.
  • Manage time to meet billable targets of 36+ hours per week and travel up to 20% for client meetings and onsite engagements.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of project management consulting experience or applicable experience.
  • 2–5 years of Databricks or data platform consulting experience or applicable experience, with preferred exposure to platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, or Oracle.
  • PM certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Databricks certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Lakehouse Fundamentals are a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Client-facing experience within an agency or consultancy is required.
  • Knowledge of AI code editors such as Cursor and data integration platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks is required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship.
