Description

  • Build a firm-wide feedback cadence that supports ongoing associate growth.
  • Manage relationships with partners and firm leadership using tailored approaches.
  • Develop programs and touchpoints that strengthen associate belonging and community.
  • Design and manage learning and development programs grounded in adult learning theory.
  • Coach associates, address performance concerns, and guide individual development.
  • Analyze utilization and performance data to identify problems and drive action.
  • Contribute to attorney talent acquisition and future attorney development programs.
  • Apply employment-law knowledge to development and performance matters.
  • Represent attorney development with authority and influence firm-wide people practices.

Requirements

  • Background in legal, attorney development, a law firm, or a legal technology environment.
  • Strong judgment and comfort handling ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and driving execution.
  • Strong learning and development program design skills grounded in adult learning theory.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring professionals; prior people-management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of US employment law.
  • Ability to analyze utilization and performance data and use findings to recommend action.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Availability in the Americas time zones, ideally with Eastern Time overlap.
  • Resilient, direct, transparent, team-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative.
  • Tech-savvy and AI-forward mindset.
