Description

  • Build a continuous feedback cadence that supports associate growth beyond annual reviews.
  • Manage relationships with partners and firm leadership, tailoring approaches to different stakeholders.
  • Develop programs and touchpoints that strengthen associate belonging and community.
  • Design and manage learning and development programs grounded in adult learning theory.
  • Coach associates, address performance concerns, and support individual development as a people manager.
  • Analyze utilization and performance data to identify under- or mis-utilized associates and recommend actions.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition initiatives and future programs for expanding the attorney team.
  • Apply attorney-development expertise to influence firm leadership and shape talent practices.

Requirements

  • Background in legal or attorney development, preferably within a law firm or legal technology environment.
  • Strong learning and development program design skills grounded in adult learning theory.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring professionals; people management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law, particularly as it relates to development and performance.
  • Ability to use utilization and performance data to identify issues and support decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Availability to work Americas time zones, ideally with overlap during U.S. Eastern Time hours.
  • Strong judgment, initiative, resilience, directness, transparency, and comfort operating in ambiguous situations.
  • AI-forward, technology-savvy approach and genuine interest in collaborative team environments.
