Description

  • Lead and coach Customer Success Managers across enterprise and scaled customer segments.
  • Define and improve engagement models for high-touch and tech-touch customer tiers.
  • Develop a standardized account health scoring framework to identify customer risk across a 1,000+ account base.
  • Build and maintain internal knowledge bases and formal playbooks to replace informal collaboration.
  • Use leading indicators and proactive outreach to reduce churn and prevent customer issues.
  • Manage day-to-day team performance using clear KPIs and accountability measures.
  • Support CSMs on executive presentations, customer optimization, and retention strategy.
  • Translate messy data and ambiguous processes into repeatable, scalable operating procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing a Customer Success team, or 4+ years as a Senior/Lead CSM ready for advancement.
  • Proven experience managing both high-touch enterprise accounts and scaled or digital customer segments.
  • Experience using CRM, BI tools, or Excel to track health, predict churn, and report on performance.
  • Ability to design scalable processes and implement a new tool, workflow, or playbook.
  • A coaching-first leadership style with strong emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work through ambiguous situations and turn unclear data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with advanced data visualization tools (preferred).
  • Experience selecting or implementing a CS platform such as Gainsight, Vitally, or ChurnZero (preferred).
  • Experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
  • Completion of the Wonderlic Assessment as part of the hiring process.
