Description

  • Support customers throughout the full customer lifecycle, including onboarding, adoption, expansion, retention, and advocacy.
  • Guide new customers through onboarding for MariaDB deployments.
  • Manage the automated program supporting accounts in the assigned portfolio.
  • Establish an ongoing meeting cadence with assigned customers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, advocate, and primary escalation point for customers.
  • Work with customers to understand data management strategies and identify improvements for their MariaDB implementations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deliver value and improve customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and Account Executives on escalations, upgrades, migrations, deployments, maintenance, and growth plans.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and document success plans, growth plans, expectations, and outcomes.
  • Measure, manage, and improve customer health, engagement, and value realization to support net retention goals.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer support, entry-level account management, or a graduate-level role.
  • Ability to build and maintain C-level relationships.
  • Ability to deliver custom ROI analysis with minimal guidance.
  • Understanding of customer success principles.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and MariaDB concepts and features.
  • Ability to speak to new MariaDB features and releases quickly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to write persuasive, clear, and concise emails and presentations with minimal guidance.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of databases, with preferred experience exceeding MariaDB’s functional/technical depth for the role.
  • Track record working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language is a bonus.
  • Austin, TX area preferred for a remote U.S. role.

  • Annual base salary of USD $60,000-$70,000.
  • Uncapped commission with an anticipated range of $25,000-$30,000.
