Description

  • Own end-to-end implementation delivery for assigned clients from kick-off through go-live and hypercare.
  • Lead technical integration workstreams including EHR connectivity, HL7/FHIR data exchange, and workflow configuration in Steer Studio and Mirth Connect.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, and status reports, and proactively surface and resolve blockers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders across IT, clinical operations, and executive leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and issue resolution.
  • Manage 10+ concurrent implementations while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Contribute to and maintain implementation playbooks, onboarding templates, and lessons-learned documentation.
  • Participate in weekly operating cadences with clear metrics, accountability, and issue resolution.
  • Track and report implementation KPIs, including time-to-go-live, adoption rates, and integration success rates, to leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Travel to customer sites to lead implementation workshops, executive stakeholder meetings, end-user training, and go-live support, and serve as the onsite implementation lead during key milestones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare technology or health IT.
  • Proven experience managing EHR integrations such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, or eClinicalWorks, or equivalent systems.
  • Working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or clinical data exchange standards.
  • Ability to engage technical teams at depth and communicate effectively with health system C-suite executives.
  • Track record of managing multiple complex implementations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms such as Asana or Jira, or equivalent tools.
  • Comfort operating with structured accountability, clear performance metrics, ambiguity, and the pace of a high-growth startup.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States approximately 20-30% for onboarding, implementation, training, and go-live support.
  • Ability to travel on short notice when required for critical customer initiatives or launch activities.
  • Experience with AI, voice agent, or patient engagement platform implementations, preferred.
  • Background in revenue cycle management or clinical workflow automation, preferred.
  • Experience at multi-hospital or large health system accounts, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Mirth Connect or other integration engine platforms, preferred.
  • PMP or CAPM certification, preferred.
  • Series A/B startup experience, preferred.
  • GCP or cloud-based SaaS environment background, preferred.
