Description

  • Build, customize, and support responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Configure hosting and server environments, including DNS, SSL, PHP, Plesk, permissions, and ExpressionEngine.
  • Develop and troubleshoot applications using PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Customize and integrate CMS extensions, modules, APIs, payment gateways, and XML services.
  • Manage deployment lifecycle activities including quality control, versioning, staging, performance, security, and PCI compliance.
  • Administer databases through imports, exports, synchronization, data manipulation, and backups.
  • Advise on and implement device detection, cookies, sessions, and CRON jobs.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to creative, design-aware problem solving.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL, and JavaScript, including jQuery.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Experience developing and/or deploying responsive websites.
  • Ability to write clean, understandable, cross-browser-compatible code.
  • Understanding of responsive design and the relationship between design and development.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Object-oriented programming experience (preferred).
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, or systems such as ExpressionEngine, HubSpot, Magento, Shopify, Squarespace, or WordPress (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AJAX, CodeIgniter, Nginx, Node.js, SOAP, JavaScript MVC frameworks, Google APIs, social media integrations, Salesforce, or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
  • Professional certifications or educational degrees (preferred).
