Description

  • Own the acquisition and conversion funnel across paid search, social-to-web, partner inbound, and PR, and run weekly growth experiments with the data team.
  • Design segment-aware go-to-market entry points that move each audience from first touch to first contribution efficiently.
  • Run the lifecycle and email program so campaigns support the full user journey from initial contact through repeat civic action.
  • Partner with product and engineering on SEO and GEO to improve branded and topic search visibility and AI-overview citations.
  • Own leader-side growth as partner self-service launches, including how leaders discover BTP, build a page, and publish their first opportunity.
  • Define and report growth metrics tied to the product, including story submissions, contribution actions per visitor, share-through rate, engagement, and organic ranking.
  • Own the content engine, including storytelling templates, onboarding copy, website copy, the email program, and partner toolkits.
  • Lead editorial planning and manage the content strategist and content calendar while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Run the user-generated content motion by capturing social proof, amplifying high-performing content, and feeding insights back into product.
  • Own the support experience, including the transition from contractor-based support to an in-house model and the standards for coverage and quality.
  • Oversee partner and leader onboarding, training, place-based activations, and day-to-day support through the customer success lead.
  • Build self-service support resources such as help content, FAQs, and resource pages that scale with the user base.
  • Close the loop between support and product by turning recurring friction into prioritized product and content fixes.
  • Manage and develop a small team of a Content Strategist and Customer Success Lead, and partner closely with product, engineering, data, and creative teams.

Requirements

  • Track record of owning a funnel end-to-end, including acquisition, conversion, onboarding, and retention, with strong data discipline.
  • Experience in product marketing, growth, or lifecycle marketing on a consumer or community-facing platform.
  • Strong content and editorial judgment, including the ability to define brand voice and edit for impact.
  • People leadership experience across content and customer-facing functions, with a record of developing a small team to high output.
  • Comfort building in a fast-moving v1 environment where the roadmap is still forming and the feedback loop is weekly.
  • Fluency with modern growth and analytics tools, including event-based instrumentation, lifecycle tooling, and SEO/GEO.
  • Enthusiasm for Stand Together's vision and principled approach, and commitment to its culture and values.
  • Experience in a civic, social impact, or movement-building context, preferred.
  • Proven ability to build a growth function from scratch, preferred.
  • Experience with user-generated content at scale and related trust and safety considerations, preferred.
