Description

  • Own and scale inbound and outbound revenue marketing programs to create pipeline in partnership with Sales.
  • Build and manage digital demand generation programs, including SEO/GEO, paid media, email nurture, content-led acquisition, and ABM campaigns.
  • Develop account-based marketing strategies that build early buyer awareness before RFPs are issued.
  • Design and execute AI-assisted outbound campaign sequences with Sales leadership and SDR outreach.
  • Lead field marketing programs, including regional roundtables, executive events, and prospect activations that convert to pipeline.
  • Develop and manage partner co-marketing programs with key channel partners.
  • Own strategy and executive oversight for the annual event calendar, including trade shows, executive engagements, speaking opportunities, hosted events, and conferences.
  • Plan and lead SpryPoint’s annual client conference, including programming, sponsorship, logistics, and attendee experience.
  • Own market positioning, category narrative, competitive differentiation, and buyer-facing messaging across channels.
  • Build messaging architecture, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement assets such as battlecards, objection handling, ROI tools, and case studies.
  • Partner with Product and leadership on launches and translate technical capabilities into buyer-relevant value propositions.
  • Direct content strategy, brand consistency, and web presence as demand generation assets.
  • Partner with RevOps on lead scoring, ABM targeting, reporting cadence, dashboards, and marketing performance visibility.
  • Assess the current marketing contractor stack and recommend future team structure and hiring needs.
  • Manage the full marketing budget and work cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Product, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience.
  • At least 3 years in a director or senior director-level role with pipeline accountability.
  • Proven track record of building inbound pipeline programs from scratch.
  • Strong working knowledge of product marketing fundamentals, including messaging architecture, competitive positioning, buyer personas, and sales enablement.
  • Pipeline-accountable mindset with experience owning MQL and SQL targets and presenting attribution and revenue contribution data.
  • Experience leading a lean marketing team, directing contractors, and building full-time staff incrementally.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to assess performance and act decisively when standards are not met.
  • Expert fluency in HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing analytics tools; ZoomInfo or equivalent intent-data platforms is a plus.
  • Preferred experience marketing to government, utility, quasi-government, or infrastructure buyers with long, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles.
  • Preferred experience owning large annual client conferences and high-investment industry event programs.
  • Preferred background in high-growth, PE-backed, scale-up SaaS environments.
  • Preferred familiarity with channel partner marketing and partner-influenced pipeline reporting.
  • Preferred experience building or scaling a product marketing function, or working closely with a PMM team.
