Description

  • Coordinate critical incident response requests and deliver virtual critical incident response support.
  • Complete management referral intakes according to established guidelines and ensure appropriate placement of referred employees.
  • Provide guidance on EAP protocols to counselors working with employees.
  • Work daily incoming queues and meet speed-to-answer and service level agreement requirements.
  • Provide follow-up to monitor employee compliance and share feedback with supervisors and HR/managers.
  • Confirm required paperwork and signed releases are in place to coordinate follow-up with treatment providers and HR/managers.
  • Provide limited aftercare monitoring to support employee safety and continuation of treatment.
  • Assess risk and manage member and organizational crises through in-the-moment support, triage, safety planning, and follow-up.
  • Identify and help solve barriers or disruptions to care with leadership support.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the customer’s benefits ecosystem and programs to support referrals and navigation.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation that meets risk management and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist credential with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Independent licensure is required.
  • SAP qualification preferred.
  • CEAP certification preferred.
  • Supervisory experience or experience working with management and human resource professionals preferred.
  • Experience in crisis management and substance use disorder (SUD).
  • Familiarity with employee assistance/human services program terminology and concepts.
  • EAP experience required.
  • Experience delivering and coordinating critical incident response required.
  • Experience working with diverse populations; bilingual ability preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare settings and community resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with technology and new platforms, and ability to handle tech-related tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask, context switch, and go above and beyond.
  • Ability to work 10am-6pm ET, Monday through Friday.
  • Temp role from 5/20/26 to 9/24/26.
