Description

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic partnerships focused on audiobooks and media partners.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for partners and address their needs.
  • Negotiate contractual agreements and operationalize partnerships across product, marketing, reporting, and integrations.
  • Build relationships across partner organizations, including product, engineering, business, marketing, and content teams.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to define and support distribution strategies and integrations.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Licensing, Product, Technology, Marketing, Content, and Premium teams.
  • Source, evaluate, and develop new partnership opportunities to expand Spotify’s audiobooks ecosystem.
  • Scale existing relationships across media and emerging partner areas.
  • Navigate evolving partner ecosystems and translate strategy into scalable execution.
  • Leverage data and AI tools to identify partnership opportunities and improve decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong track record in business development and independently leading complex partnership negotiations.
  • Experience identifying and building new partnership opportunities from early stages through scale.
  • Deep familiarity with NDAs, licensing structures, and distribution deals.
  • Confidence negotiating and operationalizing agreements with both business and technical terms.
  • Comfort leveraging data and AI tools to inform partner strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and navigate evolving partner landscapes.
  • Experience in or strong interest in audiobooks, publishing, or audio content ecosystems is a plus.
  • Organized, steady under pressure, and motivated to build win-win solutions for partners and users.
  • Willingness to frequently collaborate with stakeholders in the GMT timezone.
  • Flexibility for periodic travel for client meetings, events, and team collaboration.
