Description

  • Lead the underwriting, processing, and closing functions to drive origination, quality, velocity, and homeowner experience goals.
  • Manage and develop production leaders, strengthening manager capability in coaching, performance management, resource planning, accountability, and employee development.
  • Set clear operational goals and performance expectations that align daily execution with broader company objectives.
  • Monitor production metrics, identify trends and bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase production capacity, reduce friction, and improve team effectiveness.
  • Develop scalable processes, workflows, and operating models that enable higher-volume, more independent execution.
  • Lead change management efforts across production operations during new process, technology, policy, and organizational changes.
  • Use data and analytics to forecast performance, evaluate capacity and risk, and present insights to executive leadership.
  • Own Salesforce reporting and production analytics, including dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Own investment risk policy execution, including underwriting guideline updates and exception authority governance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of operations leadership experience in real estate, mortgage, fintech, or financial services.
  • Experience leading leaders and managing managers responsible for high-performing production teams.
  • Experience managing teams in hybrid and remote environments.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across departments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Advanced Google Sheets experience.
  • Salesforce reporting experience, including building dashboards and forecasting performance.
  • Track record of improving operational performance through process improvement, capacity planning, performance management, and scalable team structures.
  • Ability to translate company goals into clear priorities, expectations, and outcomes for teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Experience leading teams through growth, process improvements, system implementations, and change management initiatives.
  • High degree of ownership and accountability, with a bias toward action and problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup.
