Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech services.
  • Oversee and optimize the backend API landscape for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions to support enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to backend services that support analytics, new products, and external APIs.
  • Participate in fast-paced product and technical decision-making for a distributed, flat organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of delivering results consistently and quickly.
  • Willingness to provide a portfolio and LinkedIn profile when applying.
