Description

  • Deliver development across greenfield and brownfield application engagements.
  • Design, write, test, debug, and deploy production-quality code.
  • Own assigned features, components, and small workstreams from implementation through delivery.
  • Create and maintain automated tests while validating functional, performance, and security requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on correctness, readability, and maintainability.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical research.
  • Produce and document component- and feature-level designs.
  • Coach junior technical consultants through pairing, code reviews, and day-to-day guidance.
  • Manage quality, timelines, handoffs, risks, and blockers for assigned work.
  • Communicate technical work to client stakeholders and present solutions in customer sessions.

Requirements

  • Working proficiency in at least one of Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python, with proficiency in a second preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver production-quality code with limited supervision.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.
  • Experience with automated testing and testing strategies.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, anti-patterns, and implementation-level design.
  • Experience building or modernizing applications, APIs, and cloud-native services using modern frameworks and DevOps practices.
  • Working knowledge of security, CI/CD, source control, logging, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency with AI development tools, especially Claude Code; experience with Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or Continue.dev is valued.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, escalate risks, and communicate clearly with client stakeholders.
  • Preferred: consulting or professional services experience, legacy modernization, messaging or integration technologies, cloud certifications, coaching experience, or community involvement.
