Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Reduce scope where appropriate to get faster customer feedback.
  • Deliver solutions through Speechify’s cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience building systems with end-to-end design and a focus on simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth remote startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Java experience is acceptable, though the role is focused on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required with application.
  • United States-based candidates only.
