Description

  • Translate business initiatives into architectural vision and technical standards in partnership with Product and Engineering.
  • Design cost-efficient, scalable solutions that maximize customer value.
  • Devise architecture approaches that improve portability, usability, maintainability, scalability, recoverability, availability, extensibility, and security.
  • Author AI-ready solution specifications and participate in AI-enabled workflows.
  • Drive system evolution through target and interim states using system diagrams and execution paths.
  • Communicate technical context effectively to both engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Prototype high-impact AI capabilities to validate technical feasibility and guide architecture decisions.
  • Evaluate build-vs-buy, now-vs-later, and refactor-vs-rebuild trade-offs and make pragmatic technical decisions.
  • Provide high-level estimates for non-trivial features.
  • Coach engineering teams and support stronger autonomous design decisions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong core engineering principles.
  • 3+ years of experience designing complex software architectures in a multi-stack environment.
  • Experience with Java, C#, Python microservices, or data analytical systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Practical experience with relational databases, distributed caching, replication, and enterprise search engines such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong architectural decision-making with the ability to evaluate trade-offs, risks, and technology pros/cons.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and aligning across organizations.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, technical discovery, or solution consulting is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AI enablement initiatives and agentic AI systems is a strong plus.
  • English at Upper Intermediate level or higher; fluent Ukrainian.
