Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs and applicable UI components.
  • Build and extend automation solutions for API and UI testing.
  • Define and implement performance, load, and stress testing strategies using JMeter Java DSL.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, sprint planning, and estimation from a QA perspective.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, business analysis, and product teams to improve testability throughout the SDLC.
  • Maintain test documentation and identify, report, and track defects.
  • Align QA deliverables with PCI DSS, financial industry regulations, and other compliance standards.
  • Optimize automated testing within GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor and guide a middle-level automation engineer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development or QA engineering.
  • 4+ years of hands-on test automation experience, with a strong focus on API testing.
  • FinTech or e-commerce experience; regulated-environment experience is preferred.
  • Strong Java or Kotlin skills with JUnit/TestNG, RestAssured, MockServer, and JMeter.
  • Experience with performance, load, and stress testing.
  • Experience with Playwright or comparable UI automation tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with GitHub Actions.
  • Good SQL knowledge and understanding of QA best practices, test pyramids, and the SDLC.
  • Understanding of payment systems, transaction flows, and compliance requirements.
  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) and fluent Ukrainian; AWS and Docker/Kubernetes experience are preferred.
