Description

Lead the design, breakdown, and implementation of scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
Design, code, and productionalize models into model-driven services for product features.
Directly implement advanced ML integrations to improve existing products.
Build and manage end-to-end pipelines that move models from experimentation to production deployment.
Take ownership of integration layers, communication interfaces, and cloud deployment for ML services.
Lead engineering SDLC practices through code reviews, pair programming, and automated testing.
Build and adjust MLOps infrastructure, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services.
Lead high-performance systems that handle real-time, high-volume data processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional product delivery teams to integrate ML models into enterprise infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, architectural, and deployment issues.
Mentor ML engineers and help translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience as a technical lead with hands-on coding responsibilities.
3+ years of hands-on development and deployment with Python.
3+ years of experience engineering microservice architectures, including monitoring and maintenance.
3+ years of experience with AWS and/or GCP, Redis, Elasticsearch, Amazon SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, FastAPI, Prometheus, Grafana, and Apache Kafka.
Experience with AI/ML development and delivery, including deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Hands-on experience with LLM toolkits such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LangSmith.
Experience in cloud-native delivery with practical understanding of containerization technologies.
Proficiency in GitOps and creation/management of CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated experience building and using SQL/NoSQL databases.
Ability to break complex solutions into well-defined stories and tasks and work with systems thinking and system design.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-facing architecture discussion skills.
Fluent Ukrainian, both spoken and written.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, or a similar field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Experience working with cross-team dependencies is a plus.
Bonus points for observability tools, LLM infrastructure, vector databases, RAG systems, MLflow/Weights & Biases/KubeFlow, and Java experience.
