Description

Own test strategy, planning, execution, and quality sign-off for SonicOS components.
Architect, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and test tools.
Drive an automation-first regression strategy and improve overall test coverage.
Perform complex system, integration, and upgrade/downgrade testing.
Partner with development and product teams in design reviews, scrums, and defect triage.
Lead root-cause analysis and validation of critical customer issues.
Mentor engineers and review test plans, automation design, and coverage.
Drive release readiness, escape analysis, and quality metrics.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VLANs, and firewall policies.
Experience with firewall and security technologies such as VPN, DPI/App Control, IPS, Gateway AV, and Geo-IP/Botnet.
Hands-on automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
Programming experience in Python or JavaScript for framework and tool development.
Experience with Linux/Unix debugging, logs, core dumps, and packet capture tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git-based pipelines.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or similar.
Exposure to effective use of AI tools.
Experience with signature-based services and live update pipelines is preferred.
Experience with cloud test environments such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
Experience handling customer escalations and reproducing field issues is preferred.
B.E., B.Tech., or M.Tech. in CS, IT, or a related field.
