Description

  • Own, develop, and scale the automation framework and expand robust end-to-end test coverage.
  • Lead QA initiatives, process improvements, tooling adoption, and automated testing practices in an agile environment.
  • Perform automation, API, mobile, and targeted manual regression testing.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to define comprehensive test coverage throughout development.
  • Analyze usage patterns to identify application risks and conduct root-cause analysis of bugs.
  • Partner with DevOps to optimize end-to-end test execution in the GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline.
  • Support engineering teams as the organization’s quality engineering strategy champion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software test automation engineering experience.
  • Advanced hands-on experience building and maintaining automated web test suites using Cypress or Playwright.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or another programming language and maintainable test code.
  • Experience running automated suites efficiently in parallel within CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience querying relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to data security, privacy, and ethical technology practices; permanent U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
  • Preferred: framework migrations, mobile testing, API contract or performance testing, AI-assisted coding tools, or health-tech testing experience.
