Description

  • Enhance and scale the long-term enterprise technology roadmap and vision in alignment with SoFi’s strategy and operating model.
  • Evaluate existing systems and identify modernization opportunities across platforms and shared services.
  • Assess emerging technologies, including AI-enabled productivity and automation, to support innovation and architectural integrity.
  • Apply financial analysis such as ROI, EVA, and NPV to technology and architecture decisions.
  • Define reference architectures, establish enterprise standards, and mature the enterprise architecture practice.
  • Own and enforce architecture governance policies and change advisory processes.
  • Mature governance and lifecycle management of the SaaS application portfolio to improve consistency, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Architect infrastructure and integration patterns for enterprise AI and other high-scale initiatives.
  • Lead the design of large-scale enterprise systems using SOA, microservices, and related architecture patterns.
  • Translate complex technical trade-offs into business terms for executive stakeholders and mentor engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of broad experience across business, application, data, and technology architecture domains.
  • Proven experience owning or significantly enhancing enterprise technology design and strategy in a similarly scoped role.
  • Working knowledge of core corporate processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire, Security, and GRC.
  • Deep understanding of SOA, microservices, and REST APIs (XML/JSON), with experience building scalable globally shared solutions.
  • Experience with master data management, data warehousing, and big data streaming/ETL patterns.
  • Exposure to IaaS such as AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD-driven automation.
  • Knowledge of architecture and delivery frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, ISO, ITIL, or Agile/SAFe.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to syndicate roadmaps and influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira is appreciated.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI tools such as Copilot, Gemini, and Glean is appreciated.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical/business discipline.
  • Current TOGAF certification is a plus.
