Description

Design end-to-end cloud-based architectures on GCP and other cloud platforms with a focus on scalability, high availability, and performance.
Create technical roadmaps, architectural blueprints, and design documents aligned with business requirements.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve solution design.
Design solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
Architect hybrid or multi-cloud solutions using another cloud platform such as AWS or Azure.
Incorporate cloud security, cost optimization, and disaster recovery best practices into designs.
Design backend architectures using Laravel and scalable server-side applications and microservices using Node.js.
Architect mobile and cross-platform applications using React Native with performance and user experience in mind.
Create and manage secure API designs using REST and GraphQL through API management platforms such as Apigee or AWS API Gateway.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in solution architecture and system design.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience designing solutions on GCP.
2+ years of experience designing solutions on another cloud platform such as AWS or Azure.
Proven expertise in backend systems with Laravel for enterprise-grade applications.
Strong experience architecting cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
Extensive knowledge of scalable server-side applications and microservices with Node.js.
Hands-on experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Management.
3+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
Demonstrated understanding of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
Deep understanding of cloud architecture patterns such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture.
Proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL API design.
Expertise in database design with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cloud Spanner.
Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as GCP Cloud Operations or ELK Stack.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Certification such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect is preferred.
Experience with additional frameworks or technologies such as Django, Flutter, or Express.js is preferred.
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles is preferred.
