Description

  • Advise and support leaders in creating measurable and actionable plans.
  • Coach leadership teams through collaboration, change management, and critical decision-making.
  • Develop effective organizational solutions using problem-solving skills.
  • Manage competing priorities and competing business needs effectively.
  • Use people analytics and other data sources to drive decisions.
  • Act as an objective resource and advocate for both the business and employees.
  • Manage employee relations issues with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Influence organizational design, compensation, talent management, calibration, employee engagement, and DEI initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and People Team.
  • Partner with People Team centers of excellence and other People Business Partners to drive strategic initiatives, efficiencies, best practices, and continuity.
  • Use data and coaching to improve employee engagement and manager effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand organizational hierarchy, job structures, qualifications, compensation practices, and related administrative processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting VP and SVP-level leadership.
  • Experience building rapport and adapting communication for different styles, situations, and audiences.
  • Experience coaching leaders, including developing leaders, influencing accountability, and aligning stakeholders with differing interests.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply relevant laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Comfort using data to support decision-making.
  • Experience in Tech or Financial Services is preferred.
  • Experience supporting sizable non-exempt employee populations is preferred.
  • HRIS and Workday experience is preferred.
