Description

  • Own the top-of-funnel enterprise sales motion, including outbound prospecting and inbound qualification.
  • Create the BDR playbook for SmithRx’s outbound prospecting approach.
  • Source new sales opportunities and grow pipeline through warm and outbound campaigns.
  • Run discovery conversations to assess PBM challenges, member pain points, renewal timelines, and decision criteria.
  • Set high-quality meetings for Enterprise Account Executives and help convert interest into early-stage engaged accounts.
  • Partner with Marketing and sales leadership to develop outreach sequences, call talk tracks, and value-led messaging.
  • Research target companies and build outbound prospect lists.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity logging, lead source attribution, conversion metrics, and next steps.
  • Develop foundational BDR processes through experimentation, measurement, and iteration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Proposals, Community, Clinical, Customer, and Sales teams.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or inside sales roles.
  • Enterprise healthcare or employer benefits experience is a plus, especially in PBM, health plan, care navigation, or digital health.
  • Proven performance against pipeline targets in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Excellent listening, research, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Comfort speaking with HR/Benefits leaders, CFO/Finance stakeholders, and consultants.
  • Experience with CRM and sequencing tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or Salesloft.
  • Familiarity with data tools such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • A builder’s mindset with experience experimenting, measuring, and iterating on outreach plays.
  • Experience selling into benefits consultants/brokers is a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with PBM mechanics, including rebates, formularies, and pass-through versus spread pricing, is a nice to have.
