Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration, automation, and infrastructure projects using GitLab and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, TerraGrunt, and CloudFormation for consistent deployment environments.
  • Build observability and monitoring frameworks using DataDog, CloudWatch, and custom dashboards to track integration health.
  • Automate environment provisioning and configuration management.
  • Review and remediate vulnerabilities reported by security monitoring tools such as WIZ within agreed SLAs.
  • Monitor code obsolescence proactively and upgrade AWS codebases as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers to containerize workloads and improve Lambda deployment packaging and dependency management.
  • Improve system reliability and deployment speed through automation of build, test, and release workflows.
  • Support staging and production releases, including rollback planning and change validation.
  • Partner with architects to define DevOps best practices for security, scaling, and fault tolerance.
  • Participate in production support rotation to triage environment issues and improve alerting and recovery automation.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, SQS/SNS, and S3.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, TerraGrunt, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CDK, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security groups, VPCs, and API Gateway configurations.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript scripting for automation.
  • Strong experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Understanding of deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with global, distributed teams.
  • Ability to coach team members, share knowledge, and foster a learning environment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot production systems and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Comfort operating in an Agile environment, including sprint ceremonies such as daily stand-up, sprint planning, and sprint finalization.
