Description

  • Own technical relationships across the territory, including discovery, architecture, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical closure.
  • Develop activity and new use cases within large regional accounts to create opportunities.
  • Position services and consumption models, including Evergreen//One and storage-as-a-service, with technical and finance stakeholders.
  • Partner daily with Account Executives and regional channel partners.
  • Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Collaborate with the national SE team to share knowledge and support wins across districts.
  • Travel to regional customer sites approximately half the time or more, with occasional trips to Paris.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a field Presales, Systems Engineer, or Solutions Engineer role, preferably with territory or multi-account responsibility.
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge covering compute, virtualization, networking, data protection, and their integration in customer environments.
  • Experience selling services, subscription, or consumption-based models.
  • Senior, autonomous working style with the ability to initiate activity and manage an independent agenda.
  • Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and identify customer use cases.
  • Based in or near Marseille or Aix-en-Provence, with a valid driving licence.
  • Fluent French and professional English.
  • Enterprise storage experience across SAN, NAS, object storage, or data protection is preferred.
  • Experience with an infrastructure, data-protection, open-source, or services company is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with PACA-region IT teams are preferred.
