Description

  • Partner with Commercial and Enterprise sales teams across New Business, Expansion, Customer Success, and Professional Services.
  • Develop account knowledge, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools.
  • Set qualified prospect meetings for Sales Executives.
  • Strategically prospect key account targets and contacts.
  • Conduct thoughtful prospect conversations over phone and email.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Smartsheet products and services.
  • Identify and engage good-fit companies and contacts through email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other sales tools.
  • Influence and manage multiple outbound sequence campaigns in the sales engagement platform.
  • Record and document all activity in Salesforce.com.
  • Monitor social channels for opportunities and leads and participate in outbound social marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain a high level of outbound activity to qualify prospects and create sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Sales or Business Development role.
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, driven, and focused on success.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and present Smartsheet as a solution.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and time demands while meeting production goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Ability to handle adversity with resilience.
  • Experience with CRM, sales engagement platforms, and prospecting tools preferred.
  • Remote candidate must sit in the Central to East Coast region and report to a Manager of Sales Development in the East.
