Description

  • Acquire new logos by selling Smartsheet’s full suite of products and services to commercial customers.
  • Qualify and prioritize inbound leads quickly and create opportunities to generate pipeline through the full sales cycle for commercial accounts (approximately 200–4,999 employees).
  • Proactively prospect through warm leads, use multithreading, and perform consistent outreach to drive new business and expansion.
  • Respond to RFPs and define collaboration goals, success criteria, and program strategy to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and partner with Sales Engineers and internal Consulting to support the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to navigate the full sales cycle with urgency and close deals.
  • Manage both strategic and transactional deals to maintain a successful book of business.
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce and apply MEDDICC qualification guidelines to opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle management with proven performance in the SaaS space.
  • History of exceeding quota attainment and winning new customers.
  • 3+ years of experience with solution/consultative selling.
  • 1+ years of experience managing and maintaining customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Experience prospecting and managing designated leads/domains and identifying new market opportunities to maximize revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, DocuSign, Outreach, and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC qualification methodology and maintaining CRM records.
  • Natural curiosity to understand customer business problems, pain points, and return on investment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This is a remote role based in the U.S.; ability to telework from a registered U.S. location.
