Description

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for data engineering product capabilities, including data contracts, specifications, validation, and observability tooling.
  • Translate product and business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Enable internal use of data capabilities through clear documentation and stakeholder education.
  • Scale the data engineering platform and processes alongside other product and engineering teams.
  • Engage with customers to understand data needs, gather feedback, and identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data infrastructure and processes.
  • Write and standardize product and technical documentation.
  • Role-model strong project management practices.
  • Work within constraints such as architecture, data availability, and security.
  • Collaborate across data engineering, engineering, sales, implementation, customer success, and other teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in the healthtech or healthcare data space.
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience working at an early-stage company or in a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with engineering and data teams.
  • Expertise with EHR data and messaging standards such as HL7 and X12.
  • Experience managing both external and internal stakeholders, including Customer Success and Implementations teams.
  • Experience as a software engineer, data engineer, or in an equivalent technical role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL is preferred.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Postgres, AWS, dbt, Python, or Rhapsody is relevant to the role's tech stack.
