Description

  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for developer-facing Self-Serve products and the Platform.
  • Ship products that streamline how developers adopt and build on the Chainguard platform.
  • Build a developer-first platform that supports integrations and partner growth.
  • Lead projects from ideation through launch, including ongoing maintenance and support.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative feedback to measure impact and adjust product direction.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Partnerships, Product Marketing, UX, Growth, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Represent Chainguard in customer, prospect, partner, and analyst meetings.
  • Grow, mentor, and lead a team of Product Managers.
  • Work closely with developers and security stakeholders to define the future of Self-Serve and Platform capabilities.
  • Navigate cross-functional dependencies and secure resources to solve customer problems.

Requirements

  • Experience recruiting, leading, and growing teams of Product Managers.
  • Strong technical depth with the ability to establish credibility with developers.
  • Prior experience as a developer or proven success working in systems, networks, or another highly technical area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record engaging deeply with customers and owning outcomes through hands-on execution.
  • Ability to take ownership and move quickly in ambiguity.
  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and focus on what matters most.
  • Experience leading a developer-first platform serving both internal and external engineering teams (preferred).
  • Experience building integrations alongside external partners (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $252,000 to $289,000 USD.
