Description

  • Define and lead the integration and software architecture connecting operational systems and product platforms.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain integrations for provisioning, billing, and telemetry pipelines.
  • Design cloud-native, microservices-based architectures with scalable, fault-tolerant communication patterns.
  • Develop backend services and integration components using Python, AWS Lambda, and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Contribute to front-end and UI-facing components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Own systems that track product usage, customer overages, and revenue streams across the platform.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, Revenue Operations, Data, and Analytics teams to align architecture and workflows.
  • Translate architectural designs into Jira epics, stories, and tasks and guide backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Design and execute testing strategies for distributed systems, including integration, end-to-end, performance, and failure testing.
  • Provide architectural direction, technical mentorship, and governance across backend, integration, and front-end efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software and integration architecture with ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong AWS architecture and development experience using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and event-driven components.
  • Proficiency in Python for services, automation, or integration logic; experience with Java, C#, or another object-oriented language is acceptable.
  • Solid front-end development and architecture experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API design, asynchronous messaging, resiliency, and scalability patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable APIs and integration patterns, including REST, event-driven, and batch approaches.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Scrum or similar Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to decompose architecture into well-structured Jira tickets and drive execution autonomously.
  • Experience designing and executing testing strategies for complex systems, including functional and non-functional testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is preferred.
  • Experience working in SaaS, platform, or data-intensive environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with analytics, telemetry, or operational data pipelines is preferred.
  • Experience designing or supporting UI frameworks or internal tooling is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $181,077 to $227,374 per year.
