Description

  • Establish, refine, and scale project management processes for Core Technology initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering leaders, producers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and support delivery of technology roadmaps.
  • Own intake, prioritization, and maintenance of the Core Technology backlog.
  • Collaborate with the Core Technology Engineering Lead to plan and staff initiatives while balancing scope, schedule, and technical complexity.
  • Develop and deliver project status reports, roadmap updates, and risk assessments to studio leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project planning, milestone reviews, dependency management, and cross-team coordination across technical workstreams.
  • Define goals, success metrics, and delivery criteria for Core Technology initiatives with project teams.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and resource constraints early and drive resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve workflows, communication practices, and development processes to support operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of project management, technical production, or program management experience supporting engineering-focused teams.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in game development or a related software development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience presenting project updates, risks, and technical concepts to leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to negotiate scope, timelines, and priorities while building alignment across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with all phases of the game development lifecycle, from pre-production through launch and live operations.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting engine, tools, rendering, online services, platform, infrastructure, or other Core Technology teams (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development best practices (preferred).
  • Experience working on AAA game development projects (preferred).
  • Remote candidates must have legal residence in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Texas, or Washington.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $125,000–$156,000 in Los Angeles.
  • The salary offer may vary based on location, qualifications, experience, and relevant expertise.
  • Bonus and benefits are included in the total compensation package.
  • Remote/hybrid work designation noted as #LI-hybrid and #Remote.
