Description

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and EC2.
  • Build and manage reliable cloud-native data solutions with Amazon RDS.
  • Develop event-driven and file-processing architectures using Amazon S3, SQS, and SNS.
  • Implement IAM, VPC, encryption, logging, audit, and other cloud security controls.
  • Ensure systems meet Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external system owners on integration patterns, API contracts, and deployment strategies.
  • Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Monitor and optimize systems for performance, cost, scalability, and availability.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with API Gateway, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Experience with Amazon RDS, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with Amazon S3, SQS, and SNS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience implementing secure, compliant systems; ATO or FedRAMP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of networking, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance.
