Description

  • Design, deploy, manage, and maintain primarily AWS-based cloud solutions with Azure exposure.
  • Build highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation scripts for provisioning and configuration.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot ECS and Kubernetes environments and containerised applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement reliable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system reliability and performance.
  • Optimise cloud resource usage for cost efficiency and application performance.
  • Investigate incidents, resolve infrastructure issues, and implement service improvements.
  • Apply cloud security and compliance practices across identity, encryption, networking, and infrastructure configuration.
  • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related role.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
  • Experience designing and managing production-grade cloud environments across Windows and Linux.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience; Terraform is preferred.
  • Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting and Git/GitHub workflows.
  • Experience with ECS and/or Kubernetes; EKS, AKS, or self-managed Kubernetes experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or GitLab CI.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
  • Understanding of cloud security, compliance, databases, and SQL; relevant degree, equivalent experience, and certifications are desirable.
