Description

  • Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities on a weekly basis.
  • Prospect and build a pipeline through high-volume outbound cold calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Assess merchant fulfillment methods and determine whether they fit ShipBob’s business model.
  • Schedule demos with potential merchants and ShipBob Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to help close deals with merchants who have not previously worked with ShipBob.
  • Meet daily activity requirements and accurately track merchant interactions in the designated system.
  • Report to the manager or team lead to refine prospecting strategies.
  • Consistently work toward and exceed monthly and annual quota goals.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding merchants that do not fit standard criteria.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a sales environment, preferred, though ShipBob will train the right person with less experience.
  • Experience selling over the phone and making smart calls to a variety of businesses or merchants.
  • High degree of diligence and accountability.
  • Comfort working in a competitive environment with clear personal motivation.
  • Resilience in the face of daily rejection and delays from potential merchants.
  • Aptitude for research and understanding data.
  • Ability to work remotely in London, with weekly onsite presence initially during training.
