Description

  • Design software applications and features in Golang and React.
  • Build and evolve solutions within a distributed architecture while maintaining consistency at scale.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams on product and technical solutions.
  • Develop and track metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
  • Deliver high-quality features that are testable and meet reporting standards.
  • Lead small development teams when needed to bring projects to market.
  • Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills and knowledge.
  • Review feedback and iterate on solutions to improve internal and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward.
  • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, or Java, Python, or a similar language.
  • Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based architecture.
  • Experience with design patterns such as transactional outboxes or queuing tools like RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS systems through an ORM tool, preferred.
  • Experience using observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog for production monitoring and alerting, preferred.
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS, preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications, preferred.
  • Clear record of launching products and prioritizing improvements based on stakeholder or customer feedback, preferred.
