Description

  • Design, build, and operate the self-hosted GitHub Actions runner fleet on GKE, including autoscaling, reliability tuning, and zombie-runner cleanup.
  • Own the ArgoCD topology that powers CI/CD deployments, including cluster connectivity, ApplicationSets, production reliability controls, and event-driven delivery flows.
  • Maintain and improve shared Helm charts and ApplicationSet patterns used across Kubernetes workloads, including versioning, releases, and backward compatibility.
  • Own and evolve the Jenkins platform, including shared libraries, controllers, agents, plugins, credentials integration, JVM upgrades, and reliability.
  • Build reusable GitHub Actions workflows, actions, and templates while supporting migration away from Jenkins.
  • Lead complex platform initiatives from architectural design through implementation and long-term maintenance.
  • Own pipeline reliability end-to-end, including observability, incident response, on-call support, secrets rotation, and vulnerability response.
  • Partner with distributed infrastructure, security, and product teams to translate platform needs into reusable workflows and self-service tooling.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Jenkins administration, Groovy shared libraries, Docker-based agents, GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, secrets management, and pipeline troubleshooting.
  • Strong Kubernetes administration experience with GKE, including cluster optimization, networking, and Kubernetes internals.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS services.
  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, including ApplicationSets, sync strategies, and alerting.
  • Experience authoring and versioning Helm charts, and working with Argo Events or similar event-driven delivery patterns.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform for GKE clusters, GCP resources, and CI/CD-related modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Datadog for custom metrics, dashboards, monitors, and distributed tracing.
  • Experience running production on-call with PagerDuty, including rotation management, alert routing, escalation policy design, and post-incident reviews.
  • Experience with container registries such as JFrog Artifactory, including Xray/Curation scanning, and GCP Artifact Registry.
  • Comfortable shipping production code in at least one of Go, Python, or Node.js.
  • Experience or knowledge building or deploying LLM-based applications, AI-assisted developer tooling, or AI infrastructure for engineering workflows.

  • US base salary range of $161,360 to $242,040.
