Description

  • Develop territory plans and strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed territory goals.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and influence product adoption and prescribing.
  • Drive continued growth by supporting a successful experience for both providers and product users.
  • Maintain strong product and diabetes therapy knowledge to confidently present and demonstrate Sequel products.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and inform product development.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relationship database and complete required training documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with local advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
  • For the Senior Territory Business Leader role, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, and participate on internal advisory boards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of sales success.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must live within the assigned geography.
  • Ability to commute extensively by car, including extended daily driving and some overnight travel.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries for the Senior TBL role.
  • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to execute sales and marketing plans and manage a territory budget.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals for the Senior TBL role.
  • Recognition for outstanding sales contribution, such as President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or Circle of Excellence, preferred for the Senior TBL role.
  • Experience serving in leadership or developmental roles, such as field sales trainer or mentor, preferred for the Senior TBL role.
  • Experience representing an organization at industry conferences or conventions, such as ADA or ADCES, preferred for the Senior TBL role.
