Description

  • Develop territory plans and strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, diabetes educators, and key institutions.
  • Drive adoption and growth of Sequel products by supporting successful experiences for healthcare providers and product users.
  • Discuss and demonstrate Sequel products with a high level of diabetes and therapeutic knowledge.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and inform product development.
  • Represent Sequel products at conventions, educational forums, and industry events to build awareness.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relationship database daily and complete required training documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with state and local advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
  • For senior-level roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, and participate in internal advisory boards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of sales success.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must live within the assigned geography.
  • Ability to commute extensively by car, including extended daily driving and some overnight travel.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • Strategic problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to execute sales and marketing plans and manage a territory budget.
  • Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists strongly preferred.
  • Experience promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries with a strong record of sales success.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: recognition such as President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or Circle of Excellence preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: experience as a field sales trainer, mentor, or advisory board participant preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: experience representing an organization at industry conferences such as ADA or ADCES preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader: demonstrated career progression and promotions into roles with increased responsibility.

  • Total base salary and target incentive compensation of $185,000 to $215,000 annually, based on goal achievement.
