Description

  • Own the business success of the assigned workload across APJ and operate as a workload business owner.
  • Develop and execute a regional workload business plan with measurable goals and actions.
  • Conduct TAM and whitespace analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Partner leadership to execute regional go-to-market plays.
  • Align with HQ and product teams to refine technical messaging and positioning.
  • Take ownership of workload strategy within top strategic account technical account plans.
  • Lead or co-lead strategic pipeline creation meetings, workshops, architecture reviews, and workload deep-dive sessions.
  • Co-develop account-specific workload strategies with AE and SE teams.
  • Drive workload-specific opportunity identification, cross-sell, and upsell within key accounts.
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for the assigned workload and provide competitive intelligence and product insights.
  • Mentor sales engineering teams to position, design, and size solutions effectively.
  • Maintain demo environments, FSA lab assets, and accurate CRM updates for all engagements.
  • Lead partner and field enablement sessions, workshops, and thought leadership activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, alliance webinars, and technical forums.
  • Channel field intelligence, competitive insights, and feature requests back to HQ through structured feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 15+ years of experience with storage systems (File, Object, and Block) and/or cloud infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing and selling File solutions across multiple aspects.
  • Proficiency in positioning infrastructure benefits in the context of business outcomes.
  • Ability to produce customer-facing solution collateral such as presentations, short papers, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Ability to create public content such as blogs, webinars, or podcasts to support thought leadership.
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales, alliance, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching mindset for team members across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience selling complex technical solutions to customers.
  • Preferred: experience with high-performance storage technologies and data platforms.
  • Preferred: experience with databases, applications, HPC, EDA, and MLOps use cases.
  • Preferred: ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Preferred: highly motivated, independent, self-starting, and innovative.
