Description

  • Develop territory plans and strategies with a Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, diabetes educators, and key institutions to drive product adoption.
  • Promote Sequel products and services to support continued growth in the territory.
  • Demonstrate and discuss Sequel products with a high level of product and diabetes therapy knowledge.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user and provider experience.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and professional diabetes events to increase awareness.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and product training documentation in the customer relationship database.
  • Maintain relationships with diabetes advocacy groups and professional organizations such as ADA, ADCES, and Breakthrough T1D.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leaders, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, participate in internal advisory boards, and lead team calls as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader roles, 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries with a demonstrated history of sales success.
  • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to execute a sales and marketing plan and manage a territory budget.
  • Candidate must live within the assigned geography.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to commute extensively, including possible overnight travel.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • For Senior TBL roles, demonstrated multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales goals and recognition for outstanding sales performance are preferred.
  • For Senior TBL roles, experience in developmental or leadership roles such as field sales trainer, mentor, or advisory board participant is preferred.
  • For Senior TBL roles, experience representing an organization at industry conferences and evidence of career progression are preferred.

  • Total base salary and target incentive compensation of $185,000 to $215,000 annually, based on goal achievement.
