Description

  • Develop territory plans and sales strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed territory goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and influence adoption of Sequel products.
  • Drive product adoption and growth by supporting a positive experience for both providers and users.
  • Discuss and demonstrate Sequel products with a high level of expertise in diabetes care and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support teams to improve the user experience.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to help solve issues and improve product development.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and professional diabetes organization events to build awareness.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and product training documentation in the customer relationship database.
  • Maintain engagement with state and local patient advocacy groups and organizations such as ADA, ADCES, and Breakthrough T1D.
  • For senior roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, participate in advisory boards, and lead team calls as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of success.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must live within the assigned geography.
  • Ability to travel extensively by car, including extended driving and occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices is preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists are strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively, and solve problems using data and analysis.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader roles: 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries with a history of sales success.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader roles: multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales goals and recognition such as President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or Circle of Excellence preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader roles: prior developmental or leadership experience such as field sales trainer, mentor, or advisory board participant preferred.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader roles: experience representing an organization at industry conferences and evidence of career progression/promotion preferred.

  • Total base salary and target incentive compensation of $185,000 to $215,000 annually, based on goal achievement.
