Description

  • Drive revenue growth and market development through direct sales to individual MFMs, OB/GYNs, and genetic counselors.
  • Prospect for new business and cultivate, maintain, and expand key customer relationships.
  • Create and execute strategic business plans to accelerate revenue growth within the territory.
  • Support both currently marketed products and new product launches.
  • Provide clinical expertise, educational support, and hands-on training on technical product applications.
  • Assess the needs of medical professionals through consultative selling, logistical coordination, and problem-solving.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to close business and achieve performance goals.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA/PHI privacy requirements, general policies, procedure training, and security training.
  • Keep current on required Natera training programs and certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Science, Nursing, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of physician sales experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry, ideally within genetics.
  • Strong background in medical or biological sciences; experience in clinical diagnostics is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the OB/GYN and MFM markets with proven success selling into these specialties.
  • Demonstrated success launching new products and driving rapid revenue growth in new markets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, results-driven, and able to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Ability to work with PHI in paper and electronic form and access systems used to handle PHI.
  • Completion of HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire.
