Description

  • Develop territory plans and strategies with the Territory Business Leader to meet or exceed territory goals.
  • Execute clinical selling activities within assigned accounts to support product launch and adoption.
  • Assess patient referrals and confirm eligibility criteria for product use.
  • Deliver product education and training for people with diabetes and healthcare providers.
  • Drive provider confidence in Sequel products through clinical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Certify healthcare providers to conduct product training for patients.
  • Lead virtual training sessions and educational webinars.
  • Share user feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Maintain CRM records, manage leads and opportunities daily, and submit required training documentation.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and meetings, and maintain relationships with diabetes advocacy and professional organizations.
  • For Senior CDS candidates, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales and clinical training, participate in advisory boards, and lead team calls or regional meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid professional license in one or more of the following: RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education.
  • Strong experience with the technical use of diabetes technology preferred.
  • CDCES certification preferred for the CDS role.
  • For Senior CDS, CDCES certification is required.
  • For Senior CDS, 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience required.
  • For Senior CDS, experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of high performance in prior roles.
  • Excellent presentation and real-time response skills with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Must live within the assigned geography in Western Washington.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to carry samples and literature and travel extensively by car, including possible overnight travel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • For Senior CDS, demonstrated top-tier success, leadership or mentoring experience, conference representation, and career progression into roles with greater responsibility are preferred.
