Description

  • Partner with school leaders, teachers, and instructional teams to implement Illustrative Mathematics with consistency and impact.
  • Observe classrooms, analyze student work, and use findings to guide coaching and professional learning decisions.
  • Facilitate coaching conversations, feedback, and reflection that improve teacher practice.
  • Design and deliver professional learning experiences such as PLCs, learning labs, and leadership sessions.
  • Adapt resources, tools, and learning experiences to fit each school’s context and needs.
  • Build trust-based relationships with educators and school leaders and maintain reliable follow-through.
  • Synthesize data from observations, surveys, student work, and artifacts into actionable insights.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to strengthen planning, analysis, communication, and workflow efficiency.
  • Travel frequently to schools and district meetings in Philadelphia and occasionally for national organizational events.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in education, including teaching, instructional leadership, or curriculum implementation support.
  • Deep expertise in Grade 6–Secondary mathematics content and foundational knowledge of K–5 standards.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching teachers, teacher leaders, or school leaders with documented impact on practice.
  • Strong ability to design and facilitate professional learning aligned to curriculum, standards, and classroom practice.
  • Experience analyzing student work, classroom observation data, and instructional artifacts to inform decisions.
  • Established credibility as an instructional leader who can manage school-based relationships professionally and reliably.
  • Active practitioner-level fluency with artificial intelligence tools and sound judgment about responsible use.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including bi-weekly local travel in Philadelphia and occasional national travel.
  • Must work from a home office located anywhere within the U.S. for this remote role.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $100,320 to $127,680 per year, with a standard starting salary of $114,000.
  • Starting salary may increase up to $119,863 for candidates with more than 7 years of directly relevant experience.
