Description

  • Design and implement the overall quality and testing strategy for Semios Group, including standards and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, product management, project management, and team leads to shape and execute the testing strategy.
  • Participate in system testing architecture design and implementation.
  • Define and measure testing-related KPIs for Engineering with key stakeholders.
  • Advise developers on how to integrate testing into their workflows.
  • Lead and manage a diverse QA team across local, remote, internal, and third-party resources.
  • Participate in recruitment activities and oversee third-party test providers.
  • Mentor team members in problem-solving approaches, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to support employee development and goal achievement.
  • Ensure operational excellence and end-to-end test coverage across web and mobile applications, IoT firmware, and data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management position.
  • Strong background in QA methodologies and testing practices.
  • Experience leading QA teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, ideally with distributed or remote teams.
  • Track record of improving engineering processes and driving team success.
  • Experience mentoring team members in problem-solving approaches, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience providing regular performance feedback to support employee development and goal achievement.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Django, or Rails is preferred.
  • Solid experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and DevOps tools is preferred.
  • Expertise in Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Agile tools such as Jira or Trello is preferred.
  • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium and understanding of TDD principles is preferred.
