Description

  • Set multi-quarter design strategy across the platform and AI-powered product lines.
  • Rebuild the design operating model around decentralized, product-embedded pods.
  • Lead AI-native workflows in which designers build implementation-accurate prototypes directly against the codebase.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to accelerate cross-functional delivery.
  • Govern the design system as shared infrastructure across product surfaces.
  • Drive accessible B2B design for complex, data-dense, multi-persona enterprise workflows.
  • Use usability research and behavioral analytics, including FullStory or Pendo, to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Hire, develop, and grow a high-performing design organization.
  • Establish a culture of direct, constructive feedback and strong design perspectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of UX or product design experience in a senior design leadership role.
  • Experience setting and executing organizational-level design strategy, including hiring and developing senior talent.
  • B2B SaaS and enterprise product experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-augmented design workflows, including specific tools, processes, and outputs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying current with AI-enabled design practices.
  • A collaborative approach to resolving design and product-management ownership in AI-builder workflows.
  • Experience building and governing design systems across teams.
  • Strong command of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience; cybersecurity, regulated-market, growth-stage, pod-based, customer-facing, or leadership-pipeline experience preferred.

Benefits

  • Estimated total compensation of $320,000–$365,000, including base salary and bonus, for New York City and San Francisco Bay Area candidates.
  • Estimated total compensation of $280,000–$330,000, including base salary and bonus, for other U.S. locations.
  • Potential eligibility for annual performance-based incentives and equity.
  • Location-specific benefits may include stock options, health benefits, unlimited PTO, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
  • Hybrid work with 1–2 onsite days weekly for employees within 75 miles of the New York City or Austin offices; fully remote eligibility outside those areas.
