Description

  • Own design across Airalo’s consumer and B2B product surfaces, including acquisition, conversion, retention, core systems, reseller experience, and partner onboarding.
  • Define and drive the company’s product design strategy and long-term experience direction.
  • Lead the product design guild and research team, integrating research into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Own how the Airalo brand appears within the product, including the design system, typography, color, motion, haptics, photography, and product language.
  • Establish product quality standards covering accessibility, design systems, content, and platform consistency.
  • Lead the brand evolution in the product through a flagship connectivity launch.
  • Improve the app experience with native iOS and Android interactions, micro-animations, haptics, and platform-specific patterns.
  • Define the design system’s requirements, operating model, and accessibility standards.
  • Establish effective collaboration boundaries between design and product management.
  • Build design and research career frameworks, develop leaders, and shape and grow the team through hiring.

Requirements

  • Experience leading design for a business at significant scale and owning an entire product, with strong consumer product experience.
  • Experience with business or professional products is preferred.
  • Experience leading or closely partnering with research and using research to shape strategy.
  • Experience creating, advocating for, and implementing a design strategy.
  • Strong product design judgment and continued engagement with detailed design work.
  • Experience developing designers into leads and managers.
  • Ability to communicate the commercial value of design alongside its craft and user value.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems, including understanding their ongoing maintenance costs.
  • Ability to think across complete consumer and B2B product ecosystems rather than isolated screens.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for meetings and asynchronous work.
  • Willingness to complete legally compliant background checks with prior consent.
