Description

  • Develop expertise in live-events business dynamics and marketplace supply health.
  • Partner with Supply, Product, and Engineering stakeholders to define analytics roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and measure seller policies, including fees, fulfillment standards, and performance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to increase value for sports team and venue partners and support client growth.
  • Provide account managers with insights to strengthen seller relationships and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Build measurement frameworks, reporting, datasets, and analytical tools using AI and analytics platforms.
  • Conduct exploratory and root-cause analyses to explain performance changes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for internal leaders.
  • Collaborate with engineers to rapidly iterate on marketplace features and improve the analytics tooling ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, preferably in technology, ecommerce marketplaces, or consumer products.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Ability to own ambiguous problems from framing questions through delivering recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, including explaining complex analysis and defending methodological choices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business strategy with data.
  • Interest in contributing to a culture focused on curiosity, humility, and impact.
  • Experience with two-sided marketplaces is preferred.
  • Python experience is preferred; familiarity with Redshift, Looker, Hex, GitLab, Airflow, Fivetran, dbt, mParticle, Eppo, or Mixpanel is helpful but not required.

  • Salary range of $108,000–$157,000 USD, plus equity eligibility and a discretionary annual bonus.
